I did find this a challenging painting..Keeping in mind the overall of grasses at the same time detail.  It was a lot of back and forth...but I do feel it came out well and it is one of my favorite paintings at the moment!

I like the capture of wind in the grasses in this painting.  It is sometimes a challenge to have them flowing just right.  Though the sea and sky calm, the grasses have movement.  Also i am always entranced by that little sliver of light visible on the horizon.
