I painted this one loose and fast..sometimes i get too tight in my painting.  I did this from a photo as its a bit too rainy to paint outside. Also I am trying to see how it actually works to paint in such a my mini motorhome.  I think its okay for small work..though oil is a bit dodgy since i seem to get it everywhere!

I am currently in Comox camping in my mini motorhome at a lovely little old-fashioned provincial campsite.  I am going to see how it works out to travel around with my paints.  !

Love this composition with an invitation to the blue sea.  One of my favorites!..There were a two figures in the photograph which i almost painted in but edited out as it seemed cluttered on such a small canvas but i may attempt in a larger format to keep challenging myself.

I do love beach grasses, though quite a challenge to paint..painting "mass" as well as individual grasses..I realize i have been a bit neglectful of my blog lately and quite behind!..oh well life gets in the way sometimes

I took the photo for this one day while walking around my old neighbourhood in Portland.  Someone had painted the fence turquoise!  My favorite combo, red and turquoise.!  So I had to paint it.
