We will go over how to paint clouds, sky's, rocks, trees etc. The rest of the time will be for painting..the best way to learn is just to paint!..I will be offering helpful suggestions and gentle critiquing!..At the end of the day we will have a little showing of each others work. TESTIMONIALS
This summer we two friends decided to take plein aire painting classes togeather with Coral on Hornby Island. As inexperienced and beginning painters we were somewhat nervous about taking painting classes but Coral quickly put us at our ease and nurtured and encouraged us each step of the way. We were only planning on taking two classes but enjoyed those so much that we ended up taking six.
Coral is a great teacher. She was able to help us individually to focus on mixing colours, brush techniques, composition and looking at details of the landscape in a new way.
Hornby Island is such a beautiful and incredible place to do landscape painting. We went to different places and were able to have an experience that was rejuvinating as well as creative. It was also a lot of fun. We hope to take more classes with Coral in the future.
Thank you Coral for encouraging us and helping us to believe in ourselves as painters.
